2001 Lumley/Sullivan Reunion Details

Schedule of Events

• Friday, August 17th is an open day, and you may do as you like. People will be starting to arrive in Billings throughout the day today, so we did not have anything official set up for today. Drop by Helen and Oliver Sullivan's house to say hi or chat, or do what you would like for the day. A list of ideas is posted below. Immediately below is a map to the Sullivan' house in Billings.

• Saturday, August 18th is open in the morning, until 3:00 p.m.

  • 3:00 p.m. - For all family that would like to attended, we will be having a prayer circle for Anthony Duncan, who was tragically killed on his way to school on February 16th of this year. Anthony is the son of Angi Duncan, who now resides in Spartanburg, SC. This will be held at the reunion site.

  • 4:00 p.m. - We will have a Bar-B-Que at Oliver and Helen Sullivan's house. At that time, any other family or friends of Anthony are welcome to come and say their good-byes also. There will be 2 jars left out: one for money to help with the cost of food for the Bar-B-Que, and one for donations for Anthony's charities. See the news page for details.

• Sunday, August 19th - Open day. I have called the Billings Chambers of Commerce and they have said one of the events going on at this time is the Billings State Fair. This will be held from the 12-18 of August. The Crow Indian Fair will also be held on the Crow reservation August 18-19.

  • There are many things to do in the Billings area and I have added links below to help you find things you might enjoy doing while you are there.

    • Montana Magazine - A great magazine about Montana that has up-to-date information on all things going on in Montana

    • Billingsgazette.com - A great website from the local newspaper in Billings. A LOT of useful information.

    • Billings, Montana Convention & Visitors Bureau - A great site about Billings by the Chamber of Commerce

    • Red Lodge, Montana Official Website - Information about Red Lodge and surrounding area.

    • All about RED LODGE, MONTANA - Another good site.

    • GoBozeman.com - Information about Bozeman, MT and surrounding area.

    • Yellowstone National Park - A good site by the National Park Service.

    • Yellowstone-park.net - Another pretty good guide to Yellowstone.

    • Shell Valley, WY - This is a wonderful palaentological (dinosaur) area located very near the home of Kerrie Sullivan-Harkin.
