Janet is travelling to South America on a 2-month journey through several countries. Below are journals she sent in along with corresponding maps of where these travels took place.

Hi!
I created a new e-mail account for my journey to South America. I am hoping this will reduce the amount of SPAM, etc., thus reducing the amount of time I spend deleting!
Feel free to contact me at the new address with personal notes, etc., but please don't send forwards or attachments. This is also the address that I will be sending out my journal entries and notes from. Also, feel free to pass this address on to anyone I may have missed.
I am leaving for Peru Friday morning and will be returning to NYC on Sept. 5. Please do e-mail me, I'd love to hear from you! I expect that I will check in every few days or so.
Also, my brother will be posting my travelogues at our family website, www.duncanet.com

May 17, 2004 John and Lucy travel to Alaska top of page

John and Lucy Scott are travelling to Alaska for 2-1/2 months for a long vacation. It must be nice to be retired!! They left on May 17th and will be back early July. They will be taking their new motor home (it is nice!) and break it in. As they travel, John will send me updates from the road and I will post those here, so check back. Below I have posted a map to where they will be travelling. |

April 24-25, 2004 DeBeauxs' suprise Grandma in Denver top of page

Heather and Genese DeBeaux travelled to Denver from Phoenix with their mother Carolyn to suprise their grandmother, Ruby Debeaux. And was she ever suprised! She had no idea they were coming and was extremely excited to see them all, since it has been several years since they have been together. We all got together for lunch at a local pizza joint before they left on April 25th and have posted a photo album below. It was great seeing them again because it has been 8 or 9 years since I have seen them. |
